Let the Good-byes Roll

It is hard to believe that in just a day and a half I will be leaving my home for a place full of greenery and adventure. I am almost all packed, but still have a few more last minute items. On my last day in the States I will be going on a hike with family, getting a pedicure with my mother, then saying my final goodbyes to family and close friends at dinner on Friday night. I am still trying to grasp the idea of me living in another country and that it is actually going to happen!

I cannot wait for my adventures ahead and the people I will meet. My sorority big sister, Alissa, gave me an "Ireland survival kit" today complete with shamrock stockings, beer-shaped goggles, delta zeta apparel, band-aids, and various other survival items.
